Mapstead: Photo Travel Map Privacy Policy

How Mapstead: Photo Travel Map handles your information.

Effective August 22, 2026

Scope

This policy covers the Mapstead: Photo Travel Map iOS app. Where it is silent, the SSRE privacy policy applies.

What we collect

SSRE runs no accounts and no analytics. In most apps the content you create stays on your device and is never transmitted to SSRE. A few apps need to talk to a server to do what they do; where that is the case, the app's own privacy policy states exactly what is sent and where. If you email us, whether through the support page or an app's feedback option, your email address and message are used only to reply to you and to improve the apps.

Device permissions

This app asks for the following permissions. iOS will always ask you first, and each one can be revoked at any time in Settings.

  • Photo library
  • Saving to your photo library

Beyond the permission prompts

Some behaviour never shows an iOS prompt but still shapes where your data goes. Here is what applies to this app.

  • Reading your whole photo library

This app walks your photo library itself, rather than seeing only the photos you hand it in a picker. What it reads is metadata the Photos app already holds — when each photo was taken and where — and it opens the image itself only for the thumbnails it puts on screen. Photos with no location recorded are simply not part of what it builds. Walking the library is a read, not a transmission: if this app sent anything off your device, that would appear as its own item on this page.

Third parties

This app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

In-app purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. SSRE never sees your payment details. Apple provides aggregate sales and crash statistics that cannot identify you individually.

Where data lives

App data is stored on your device. If an app uses iCloud, that data syncs through your own Apple Account under Apple's terms — SSRE has no access to it. Deleting an app removes its local data.

Your choices

Because your data stays on your device, you control it directly: revoke a permission in Settings, delete individual entries in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored.

Children

SSRE apps are not directed at children under 13, and SSRE does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
